Egon Schiele was an Austrian Expressionist painter having studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and meeting artist Gustav Klimt, Schiele went on to produce expressive, and often erotic pieces of artwork causing a sensation at the time. Egon died from Spanish influenza in 1918, aged 28.
